How do I order?
1. Initial contact
First we start with discussing your project specifications, and to get a better understanding we normally ask you to fill out a “Project Data Sheet” (PDS) detailing the different environmental variables.
A layout of the installation site might also be requested to expedite the process.
2. Dimensioning
3. Quotation
A finished quotation is normally ready within 3 days from initial contact. In the quotation you will also find more detailed information about our delivery process, guarantees and recommendations.
In the quotation it will also be stated an estimated time of delivery and, if you wish, an estimated freight cost.
4. Production
Once the quotation is signed, you will receive a written order confirmation with an estimated date of arrival. Production is now initiated.
Everything is assembled in our main office in Umeå, Sweden, and shipped directly from here.
5. Shipping
When the order is ready, we will send you all necessary transport details. Which transport company will be used, requested pick-up date, ETA of goods at final destination and of course the freight number so you can easily track your shipment.
Depending on your location and choice of transportation, additional documents might be sent to you or to customs (such as air consignment note, bill of lading, certificate of origin, etc.).
6. Installation
Upon arrival of the goods, we recommend performing a visual inspection of the goods to ensure nothing has been damaged during shipping. An installation quick guide will be included in your shipment to facilitate the installation process.
If you have requested a Seaflex installation supervisor this person will also be available on-site for the installation of the mooring system.
7. After installation
When the project is installed and you are satisfied with the functionality of the SEAFLEX mooring system, we consider the project to be installed – not closed. With your SEAFLEX mooring system you also get free lifetime support, meaning that you can contact us at any time if you should have any questions or concerns.
We recommend setting up a regular inspection and maintenance program, and can provide you with a free inspection guide and template to use while inspecting the mooring system.
